A Healthy Lifestyle
An eight (8) week program designed to ensure, enhance, and help you enjoy a healthier lifestyle; here is a sample of the activities:
  • Cook and share
  • Visits to community gardens
  • Food storage ideas
  • Learn how to budget
  • Cost saving food sources
  • Seasonal foods
  • Alternative diets
  • Visit local farmers
  • Trips picking your own fruit & vegetables
  • Learn/improve culinary skills
Conversation Circle
A city with so many different cultures can be confusing and perhaps overwhelming.  Conversation Circle is the perfect program to learn about Toronto and address common concerns.
The program offers newcomers the opportunity to:
  • Practice English
  • Learn about different cultures
  • Discover the community you live in
Newcomer Meet and Greet

Every Monday newcomers have the opportunity to meet other people in a casual and relaxed atmosphere.  A little food and a soft drink makes for the perfect gathering to make new contacts. 

You will gain knowledge about different workshops, share your experience with others and have the chance of becoming involved in your community. Children are welcome.
